Grown in the mineral-rich soils of Kagoshima in southern Japan, this matcha is celebrated for its vivid colour, refined sweetness, and exceptionally smooth, umami-rich flavour.

Produced using 100% single-cultivar Saemidori—a premium varietal known for its low bitterness—this matcha is shade-grown to intensify its chlorophyll and amino acid content, then stone-milled into a velvety, emerald green powder. The result is a truly elegant matcha with tasting notes of buttered edamame, steamed spinach, and a silky finish of sweet grass and soft umami.

Our Saemidori Matcha is certified organic by JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standards) and grown without the use of pesticides or conventional fertilisers. This ensures purity from leaf to cup, honouring both your wellbeing and the environment.

To preserve its extraordinary colour, aroma, and freshness, we package it in violet glass. This biophotonic glass filters out harmful visible light while allowing in beneficial UV and infrared rays—light frequencies known to enhance preservation and maintain antibacterial integrity.
