Our Commitment

At The Tea Collective we take great pride in the quality of every product we send. If something isn't right, we want to hear from you and we'll do our best to make it right.

Tea Products

Due to the perishable and consumable nature of tea, we are unable to accept change of mind returns or exchanges on any tea products under any circumstances. This includes opened and unopened tea products. We encourage you to use our Tea Finder Quiz to find your perfect match before purchasing.

Accessories

We accept returns on accessories within 14 days of delivery for online orders, or date of purchase for in-store purchases. To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unopened
  • Undamaged
  • Unused
  • In original packaging

Approved returns on accessories will be issued as a store credit only. No refunds will be given. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Sale Items

We do not accept returns or exchanges on sale items under any circumstances. All sale purchases are final.

Purchased from One of Our Stockists?

We're so glad our teas have found their way to you through one of our wonderful retail partners. While we always love to hear your feedback, if you purchased your tea through one of our stockists or retailers, we're unable to process returns, exchanges or refunds on their behalf.

For any issues with a purchase made through a retailer, please reach out to them directly as they will be best placed to help you.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@theteacollective.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • A photo of the damaged or faulty item
  • A brief description of the issue

We will assess each case individually and where applicable arrange a replacement or store credit. For the fastest resolution on transit damage we recommend adding Shipping Protection at checkout. See our Shipping Policy for details.

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return please contact us at hello@theteacollective.com.au within 14 days of delivery or purchase. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Restocking Fee

A 30% restocking and administration fee applies to any order returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery or customer request not to reship.
