Shade-grown for weeks before picking, then stone-milled slowly enough not to scorch the leaf. Ceremonial grade means it is made to be drunk on its own with water — sweet, thick, with no bitterness to hide. If you want matcha for baking or smoothies, our latte powders are the better buy.
