5 Favourite Ingredients

At The Tea Collective, we use the best ingredients in our products to ensure quality, health benefits and of course - flavour! We thought we would share a little about 5 of our favourite ingredients we love to use in our gorgeous teas and all their characteristics that make them ‘must haves’ in our blends.

1. Chamomile

Chamomile is a herb derived from a daisy like flower that is full of antioxidants that is perfect for reducing risk of several diseases. These include heart disease and cancer! It also contains properties that aid digestion and sleep. This is why it is a key ingredient in our beautiful Lullaby Sleep tea to ensure you get quality sleep!

2. Peppermint

Peppermint is a beautiful herb that offers refreshing and cooling properties to your tea. It is an ideal herb for aiding digestion, bloating, and abdominal pain. Therefore we provide an organic Pure Peppermint tea that celebrates all the fresh flavour and soothing properties of peppermint that all herbal tea lovers adore.

3. Rose

Not only does rose petals add a lovely aesthetic to our tea, it also adds beautiful floral notes to our blends. Rose petals are also known to be high in antioxidants, assist with menstrual cramps as well as reducing anxiety and stress. 4. Ginger

Ginger is a stunning root that is used as a spice to add flavour and medicinal benefits to tea. It is well known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It also reduces nausea, bloating and helps abdominal pain and indigestion. Our Ginger Zing is the perfect tea to soak up all of ginger’s goodness and flavour.

5. Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a stunning bark like spice that is full of flavour, warmth and health benefits. It is also anti-inflammatory, high in antioxidants and lowers blood sugar.
