Maternity Launch: Interview with Tracy Gaibisso
We are extremely excited to announce the release of our stunning Maternity range of teas! In collaboration with the talented Tracy Gabiasso - a Naturopath, Herbalist, Nutritionist and Wellness/Fertility Coach who is Masters educated in Reproductive Medicine we have produced a three stage maternity collection. These teas are curated to naturally assist women from conception, through pregnancy and to nursing.
In the lead up to the release, we thought we would interview the lovely Tracy on her experience with Reproductive Medicine and the collaboration with us!

Tell us a little bit about your experience in the realm of reproductive health?
I have been working within this area for over 20 years, primarily assisting couples who are having difficulty conceiving. I work with them either independent of, or alongside assisted reproductive techniques and overwhelmingly my biggest experience is the mental and physical toll it takes on these couples. In addition to pre-conception and fertility I also see women through all stages of life when their hormones are changing and any problems they get with them along the way.
What do you love so much about this collection?
I love that it is a collection that not only looks and tastes good but it can offer people a continuity of care from start to finish in the whole process of bringing a little one into the world.
What is your reasoning behind the collection?
Often when looking for teas for clients you can find one for breastfeeding or one for the last couple of months of pregnancy but I have yet to see a collection that can be drunk from pre-conception right through to breastfeeding, with such good quality herbs and that also tastes nice. I think this collection will make it easy for mothers-to- be to trust the quality of what they are drinking and I wanted them to know that it has been formulated by somebody that has specifically been working in this area for over 2 decades.
Why did you collaborate with The Tea Collective?
They were highly recommended to me by a colleague who had worked with them before and I liked the fact that it was a small Australian company and that Becci & Brittany were as passionate about teas as I am.
What is your favourite tea to drink?
That is like asking someone which is their favourite child!! If I had to pick one I would say oatstraw, for me it is like a hug in a mug, there is something so nutritious and restorative about it, that it is my number one tea that I reach for if I want to nourish my nerves and just re ground myself.
Do you have a tea ritual? If so, what is it?
I really enjoy tea if it has been brewed in a China teapot and drunk out of a China cup! There is something about the taste that changes for me when it's drunk this way. I also always drink it in the garden (preferably with my husband) and surrounded by nature.
