Kasumi - Ceremonial Grade Matcha
Overview
About Kasumi - Ceremonial Grade Matcha
Discover the flavour, energy and ritual behind this matcha.
Named for the morning mist that settles over the tea fields, Kasumi is ceremonial matcha made for every day. A smooth, forgiving blend of Uji and Mie leaf — gentle umami, natural sweetness and no harsh edges. We recommend enjoying it the traditional way: whisked with hot water until it foams, the way ceremonial matcha is meant to be. Naturally rich in caffeine for a clean, lasting lift. Exceptional whisked — and equally at home in a latte.
Matcha preparation
Simple steps to the perfect bowl.
-
Warm Your Tools
Add warm water to your matcha bowl and soak your whisk for 30 seconds to soften the bristles and warm the bowl. Empty and gently dry.
-
Measure & Sift
Measure 1–2 scoops (about 2g) of matcha with your chashaku and sift into the warm, dry bowl.
-
Water & Whisk
Add 10–20 ml cool water and mix to a paste. Add 70–80 ml hot water (80°C) and whisk in a zig-zag motion until foamy. Enjoy as is for pure matcha.
-
Make It a Latte
Add frothed warm milk, or pour over ice with cold milk. Sweeten to taste.
