About Lapsang Souchong
Discover the story, character and ritual behind this product.
This exceptional Lapsang Souchong is the pinnacle of quality, smoked with locally sourced natural wood, delivering a smooth, smoky-woody taste. Whether enjoyed on its own, like a fine whiskey, or paired with food, it provides a truly distinctive flavour experience. Grown in the Fujian province of China, Lapsang Souchong takes its name from the larger, more robust fourth and fifth leaves of the tea plant, perfect for the unique smoking process. Our tea is double-smoked over pinewood, creating a rich, complex scent that combines hints of timber resin, sweet spices, and a peaty aroma akin to malt whiskey.
