About The Bit More Bundle
Discover the story, character and ritual behind this product.
Six blends. The Starter four, plus an Earl Grey and a fruited green — the two things a customer asks for once you've covered the basics.
This is the range for a venue where tea isn't an afterthought. Enough breadth that nobody gets told no, not so much that jars sit going stale.
- Organic English Breakfast — the one nobody complains about
- Ginger Zing — the after-lunch order
- Pure Peppermint — caffeine-free, and the one that sells at 3pm
- The Wild Earl Grey — bergamot done properly, for the people who notice
- Blueberry Sencha — the iced tea, and the one that sells itself in summer
- Gingerbread Chai 'Baristas Blend' — built for milk, holds up as a latte
The numbers
Your cost: $30 a jar. A jar pours about 80 cups.
38c a cup in. $6 a cup out. 94% margin.
Nobody pays $6 for a pot of tea they could buy at the supermarket. They will for tea that's hand-blended in small batches and only turns up in good cafés. Most venues charge $6. In the right room, $7.50 isn't unusual — which takes you to 95%.
How it comes
Loose Leaf — six large display jars.
Loose Leaf with Chai Latte — the same five, with our Chai Latte powder in place of the Gingerbread. Supplied as an 800g bag with an empty large display jar. Choose this if you're pouring chai lattes rather than brewing chai.
Tea Bags — 200-bag pouches with large display jars. Gingerbread Chai is loose leaf only and comes as a pouch.
